Ida Lou Jones' Obituary
Ida Lou Rushton Jones, 93, passed away on October 10, 2015 at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood.
Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Mack Dudley and Agnes Myrtle Riley Rushton, she was the wife of the late Albert Jones. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker, farmer and gardener. She was also a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put others ahead of herself and she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a son, Morris (Betsy) Jones of Saluda, two daughters, Janice (Chuck) Singley of Saluda and Lillian (Randy) Haskin of Kodak, TN, five grandchildren, Suzy, Will, Marie, Teresa and Jillian, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Lee Cothran and Rev. Dennis Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery.
