Inge Roesner

Inge Schmid Roesner, 86, passed away February 3, 2024, at MUSC Kershaw Health Medical Center.

Born in Eislingen, Germany and the daughter of the late Christian Schmid and Rosa Schnell Schmid, she was the wife of the late Klaus Joachim Roesner. Mrs. Roesner was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and Oma. After raising her own children, she became a kindergarten teacher's aide at Saluda Elementary School for twelve years. She mentored and cared for many generations of children who still fondly remember her today. She was the treasurer of the Saluda Garden Club for many years and a member of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church. As a resident of Saluda for decades, she will be remembered by many for her beauty, her joy and her love for her family and friends.

Surviving are a son, Dean Roesner (Shannon) of Saluda, a daughter, Deanne Williams (Trent) of Camden, a brother, Aron Demarez of Ebersbach/Fils, Germany, four grandchildren, Paul Roesner, Charles Roesner, Karl Roesner, and Katherine Williams, and three great-grandchildren, Alexander Roesner, Aren Roesner, and Oliver Roesner.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
