James Goodman

James Clark "Jimmy" "Cigar" Goodman, 82 passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at Self Regional Healthcare.

Born in Newberry, and the son of the late Andrew Clark Goodman and Clara Bell Gentry Goodman, he was the husband of Sheila Zorn Goodman. Mr. Goodman was a retired maintenance supervisor at Austin Industries, where he was known as "Big Head". He was a member of Dean's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church

Surviving alongside his spouse is an adopted daughter, Donna Bladon of Saluda, daughter, Vicky Davis, grandson, Joshua Goodman, step-son, Scott Walkowitz, step-daughter, Michelle Diehl all of Augusta, GA, two brothers, William Goodman of Saluda, and Roy Goodman of Clinton, and a sister, Diane Cromley of Saluda.

Mr. Goodman is preceded in death by a son, James Preston Goodman, and a brother, Charles Goodman.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Dean's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Burton Campbell officiating.
