James McGregor Keith, III, 45, died Monday, December 18, 2017.

Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of Dora Hayes Oates Keith and the late James McGregor Keith, Jr. He was a graduate of Saluda High School and Piedmont Technical College. Mr. Keith was employed with the Saluda County Water and Sewer Authority and he was a deacon and lifelong member of Chappells Baptist Church.

Surviving are his mother, Dora Hayes Oates Keith, a sister, Jane Keith Fritts (Geoffrey) of Boiling Springs, a nephew, Calvin Fritts, two nieces, Mary Kate Fritts and Lauren Fritts and one aunt, Caroline Keith Herlong of Saluda.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2017 at Chappells Baptist Church with Rev. Leroy Thrift officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the social hall.
