James Earl Leopard, 91, peacefully passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at his home in Saluda, SC.

Born in Aiken County and a son of the late Edd and Sabrina Eubanks Leopard, he was the husband of Susie DeLoache Leopard. Mr. Leopard was a US Navy veteran during World War II, a Mason for 55 years and a volunteer fireman for 35 years. He was retired from SCE&G after 39 years and a member and former deacon of Red Bank Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Susie DeLoache Leopard, a son, James E. "Jimmy" Leopard of Gulf Breeze, FL, two daughters, Cathy L. (Jim) Moody of Springfield, VA and Linda L. (Jim) Bagby of Augusta, GA, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Romines and Rev. Paul Holcombe officiating. Interment will follow in Mount of Olives Cemetery in Johnston. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
