Janet Marie Mitchell, 55, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at her residence.

Born in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Edward Joseph and Sylvia Eugenia Burnett Mitchell. Ms. Mitchell was a member of St. Andrews First Baptist Church in Charleston.

Surviving are a brother, Edward Mitchell, Jr. of Saluda, a sister, Ginger M. Byrd, a niece, Caroline Byrd and a nephew, Andrew Byrd all of Powder Springs, GA.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Beauford officiating. Interment will follow in Mayson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
