Janie McGee Rodgers, 92, entered into eternal rest on February 23, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Born March 16, 1922, Janie was the daughter of the late Cullen and Lucy Storey McGee. She was the widow of John G. Rodgers and preceded in death by brothers Foster McGee and Arthur McGee, sisters Ora Lee McGee Rosel and Grace McGee Boatwright.

Janie is survived by her daughter, Betty Jean Rodgers Miller (Raymond) and son, Wallace Andrew Rodgers (Linda), grandchildren Cynthia (Luke) Polyak, Michael (Angela) Rodgers, Steven Miller, Russell (Candice) Miller, Kelly (Terry) Bedenbaugh and Christopher (Tonya) Rodgers, 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Janie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and she was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a member of St. William's Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by all.

The family truly appreciates the care given by Dr. William Sawyer and the staff of the Saluda Nursing Center Riley wing.

A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at St. William Catholic Church with visitation immediately following in the church social hall.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at St. William Catholic Church, Ward, SC 29166.
