Jasmine Rosas

Jasmine Lizette Rosas, 17, died Friday, December 10, 2021.

Born in Newberry County , she was the daughter of Valeria Rosas. Jasmine was a senior of Saluda High School, where she was an athletic trainer. She was employed by Sonic and Wal-Mart in Newberry and was a member of St. William Catholic Church.

Surviving are her mother, Valeria Rosas of the home, her father, Nuver Valsquez of Cleveland, TN, two sisters, Karina Rosas (Jose Rojas) of Saluda and Wendy Valsquez of Cleveland, TN, her maternal-grandmother, Maria Garcia of the home, an uncle, Carlos Rosas of the home, two nephews, Adrian Rosas and Miguel Rojas both of Saluda and numerous, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Visitation will be held 3:30 until 6 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2021 at Saluda High School Gymnasium.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021 at St. William Catholic Church with Rev. Jose Rodolfo Lache-Avila officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
