Jason Santos

Jason Gerardo Santos, 17, died Friday, December 10, 2021.

Born in Clinton, North Carolina, he was the son of Jose Santos and Dolores Pavon-Caceres. Jason was a senior of Saluda High School, where he played soccer. He was employed with Food Lion in Saluda and attended Zoar United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his father and mother, Jose Santos and Dolores Pavon-Caceres both of the home, a brother, Jose Santos of Saluda, a half brother, Alexander Santos of Honduras, a half sister, Tracey Santos of Honduras, two aunt, Vilma Santos-Horne of Saluda and Elizabeth Caceres of North Carolina, an uncle, Toby Horne of Saluda, six cousins, Ariel Horne, Kayla Horne and Toby "T.J." Horne , Jr. all of Saluda and Kevin Zaldivar, Carlos Zaldivar and Tiffany Zaldivar all of North Carolina.

Visitation will be held 3:30 until 6 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2021 at Saluda High School Gymnasium.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, December 20, 2021 at St. William's Catholic Church with Rev. Jose Rodolfo Lache-Avila officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
