Jennifer Charlene Fisher Wertz, 45, died Friday, February 17, 2017.

Born in Greenwood County and a daughter of William Ronald and Charlene Compton Fisher, she was the wife of Brian Jess "BJ" Wertz. Jennifer was a graduate of Ninety Six High School class of 1989 and earned an Associate's degree in Human Services from Piedmont Technical College. She was an administrative clerk for Saluda County Water and Sewer Authority and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Brian Jess "BJ" Wertz, a daughter, Courtney Elizabeth Wertz and a son, Austin Jess Wertz both of the home, her father and mother, William Ronald and Charlene Compton Fisher of Ninety Six, a brother, Ronald Eric Fisher (Kelly) of Greenwood and a nephew, Brandon Eric Fisher.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Sunday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, February 20, 2017 at Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Beauford and Rev. Chuck Sprouse officiating. Interment will follow in Mayson Memorial Cemetery.
