Jesse Gregory

Jesse Gregory, 89, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025 surrounded by his family.

Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late James Otis Gregory and Eva Attaway Gregory. Mr. Gregory operated the Gregory Shell Station until its closing. He later worked for Nomrah and eventually retired from Eagle Construction. He was a devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mr. Gregory loved fishing and cherished the time he spent outdoors.

Surviving are a sister, Shirley Witt of Chappells, special caregivers, Travis and Tina Chambers of Greenwood and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Gregory was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Steele and three brothers, Leroy Gregory, Sr., Jack Gregory and Wiley "Tiny" Gregory.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Saturday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Trinity Cemetery with Rev. Bob Huggins officiating.
