John Witt

John Hebron "Johnny" Witt, 84, died Friday, September 9, 2022 at his home.

Born in Saluda County and a son of the late Grady Lee Witt and Dorothy Elizabeth Hazel Witt, he was the husband of Shirley Gregory Witt. Mr. Witt served in the U.S. Air Force and was retired from Sprint. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and was a Mason with Travis Masonic Lodge 241.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley Gregory Witt, two sons, Darrell Lee Witt (Laura) of Columbia and John S. Witt (Loretta) of Saluda, a daughter, Kimberly Ann Hill of Marrietta, GA, two brothers, Grover Witt and Elton Witt both of Saluda and seven grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 4 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bob Huggins and Rev. Lee Cothran officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
