Joyce Ellen Frierson Brunson, 63, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Aiken Regional Medical Center.
Born in Sumter, SC, she was a daughter of the late Sammy L. Frierson and Dorothy Nell Frierson. Mrs. Brunson was employed with Piedmont Technical College, the Saluda County Campus and Edgefield County Campus. She attended New Life Ministry.
Surviving are her son, James David Matthews (Bernette Bush) of Saluda, a brother, Wayne Frierson of Sumter and a nephew, Jason Frierson of Sumter.
No services will be held at this time.
