Judy Coleman, 71, died Monday, July 20, 2015 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Saluda County, she was the daughter of the late Bob James and Rose Anna Griffith Coleman. Ms. Judy was a graduate of Hollywood High School and was retired from DHEC, Saluda County Home Health. She was a member of Butler United Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School Treasurer and a member of the United Methodist Women. Her hobby was talking on the phone.

Surviving are a sister, Joanna Coleman Black of Saluda, a brother, Bob Griffith Coleman (JoAnn) of Augusta and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Butler United Methodist Church with Rev. Lee Cothran officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Judy had expressed that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Butler United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Sandra Collard, 791 Long Rd., Saluda, SC 29138.
