Kasey McGee

Kasey Kirkland McGee, 42, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at his home.

Born in Newberry, and a son of Patra Kirkland Langford (Bob) and the late Marvin Wilson McGee, Sr., he was the husband of the late Whitney Nichole Goldman McGee. Kasey was a former asphalt plant manager for Aztec Industries and attended Emanuel Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother and step-father are three sons, Kasey Kirkland McGee, II, Tripp Goldman McGee, and Kabe Liam McGee, all of the home, a brother, Marvin Wilson McGee, Jr. of Saluda, a sister, Detra Sanders of Lexington, an uncle, Russell McGee of Saluda, a grandmother, Jackie Kirkland of Saluda, mother-in-law, Bunny Wertz Coker (Frankie), father-in-law, George Edward Goldman (Lisa), grandfather and grandmother-in-laws, A.D. Wertz, Jr. and Margie Nicholas, three sisters-in-laws, Kayla Black (Ryan), Carley Gardziel (Cory), and Morgan Goldman, a step-mother-in-law, Angela Finley (Tom), and numerous nieces and nephews, and a great niece and nephew.

Kasey was preceded in death by his wife, Whitney Nichole Goldman McGee, father, Marvin Wilson McGee, Sr., and an aunt, Charisse Thompson.

We invite friends and family to gather with us in fellowship honoring the life and memory of Kasey on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Greenwood State Park, Shelter 3. Food will be provided.
