Kate Elizabeth Cannon Clary Timmerman, 83, died Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Generations of Batesburg.

Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Callie Eugene and Carrie Madeline Matthews Cannon, she was the wife of the late Charles Leonard Timmerman and was first married to the late Milton "Johnnie" Clary. Mrs. Timmerman was retired from the Saluda Shirt Plant and was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Surviving are nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Timmerman was preceded in death by seven brothers, Earl, Jim Frank, Joe Pat, Lindy, George, Carl and Deford Cannon and four sisters, Wilma Mabus, Annie Laura Bedenbaugh, Mary Sue Flynn and Louise Koon.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Lee Cothran and Pricilla Griffith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
