Katherine Jones Bledsoe

Katherine "Kathy" Angela Jones Bledsoe, 79, from Johnston SC, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Hospice House of Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Born in Richland County and a daughter of the late Samuel Purse Jones, Jr. and Blanche Katherine Mabry Jones, she was the wife of the late Oscar Ranson Bledsoe. Mrs. Bledsoe attended EAU Claire in Columbia. Oscar and Kathy owned and operated the former Bledsoe Mobile Homes Transporter and Auto. She was a member of Faith Temple Church, where she formerly served as treasurer. She loved drawing, painting, listening and playing music. She loved to spend her time ministering to the shut-ins at the Nursing homes and ministering to the residents of the Faith home.

Surviving are sisters-in-laws, a brother-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Faith Temple Church with Rev. Heath Easler and Rev. Keith Easler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church.
