Katherine Baird Dominick, 97, of Batesburg, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. She was married to the late Dudley W. Dominick, and a daughter of the late Spence Baird and Ione Matthews Baird.

Mrs. Dominick was a 1941 graduate of Hollywood High School and employed by the Saluda Nantex prior to her marriage, and then a full-time homemaker. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, and a longtime member of Sardis Baptist Church, Saluda, SC.

Survivors are a son, Robert W. Dominick (Mary Faver) of Batesburg, daughters, Syderis D. Burkett of Wagener, and Daphne D. Kyzer (T. Larry) of Batesburg, grandchildren Paige Sheppard, Wayne Dominick, Scott Dominick, Jared Kyzer and Katie Calhoun, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by two sisters, Frances Vance and Margaret Watson, and a sister-in-law Odette Baird.

Mrs. Dominick was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley, a son, Dexter Dominick, a son-in-law, Dan Ricky Burkett, a brother, David Baird, and a sister, Ola Mae Hendrix.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. T. Larry Kyzer and Rev. Michael Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Cleve Matthews Cemetery.
