Katherine Harmon Gillian's Obituary
Katherine Harmon Gillian, 62, passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at Lexington Medical Center.
A native of Richland County, and the daughter of the late Franklin Rufus Harmon and Emily Rhoden Holsomback, and step-daughter of Thomas L Holsomback, she was the wife of Robert Lewis Gillian. She was a happy homemaker who loved visiting the mountains.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Lewis Gillian of Ward, two daughters, Meachell Hartley (Brian) and Tonia Dillon (Virgil), both of Batesburg, a son, Chris Gillian of Ward, a mother-in-law, Mabel Gillian, four grandchildren, Breanna Gillian, Karmyn Dillon, Halynn Mitchell, and Oakley Mitchell, three step-grandchildren, Kelsey, Shae and Daughtry Dillon, a sister, Sandra Hays (Larry) of Edgefield, and two sisters-in-law, Josie Fraley(Barry) and Hammie Nix.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Frankie Harmon and Tommy Holsomback.
A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Monday, October 28, 2019, at Ward Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Ward Baptist Church, 125 Ward Avenue, Ward, SC 29166.
