Kathren Rushton Timmerman

November 2, 1930 – November 10, 2020

Kathren R Timmerman, 90, entered her heavenly home on November 10, 2020. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was the daughter of the late John F and Farrah Bell Cockrell Rushton.

Kathren devoted her life to raising a large and loving family. She had many job skills but her passion of caring for others shined above all. Her most memorable moments were yearly family vacations to Cherokee, NC and Edisto Beach, SC.

Kathren is survived by two daughters, Myranda (Brooks) Salters, Barbara (the late Dan) Jones; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert "Bob" Timmerman, her sons, Brynon Taylor, Byron Taylor, her daughters, Kathy Crapps, Myrtle Long, her great grandson, Mason Whittle, her brother, Henry "Shine" Rushton, her sister, Johnnie Mae Allen, her nephew, Vance Langford, and her ex-husband, Henry Taylor.

The family will be receiving visitors at the home of Myranda and Brooks Salters.

The graveside services will be officiated by Pastor Josh Morton on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 2.pm.at the Rushton Family Cemetery on Farrah Rd, Saluda, SC. Ramey Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
