Kim Renee Cauthen Price, 63, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Born in Columbia, SC and a daughter of Judy Mays Goff Cameron and the late William E. Cauthen. She was the wife of the late Steve Wilson Price, whom she missed deeply. Kim was employed with Saluda County School District One.

Kim was a woman of unwavering strength and quiet resilience, whose presence left a mark on everyone she met. Strong-willed and fiercely independent, she lived her life on her own terms, never compromising her values and meeting each challenge with grace and determination. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her granddaughters. She spoiled them with not just gifts and treats, but with time, attention, and unconditional love.

Kim had a lifelong passion for reading and could often be found immersed in a good book. She also enjoyed watching crime shows, always intrigued by the mysteries and stories they told.

Surviving are two sons, Josh Price (Whitney) and Jacob Price (Taylor) both of Saluda, her mother, Judy Goff Cameron of Saluda, three granddaughters, Presley Renee Price, Reagan Ivie Price and Noa Brooke Price, along with numerous brothers and sisters' in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Kim was preceded in death by two sisters, Bobbie Cauthen Martin and Angie Goff Pratt and stepfathers, Richard Goff and Bill Cameron.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Saluda Baptist Church with Rev. Burton Campbell and Rev. Jeff McCartney officiating.

Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery.
