Lena Mae Smith Salter's Obituary
Lena Mae Smith Salter, 83, died Saturday, January 17, 2015.
Born in Aiken County and a daughter of the late Bennie Lee and Minnie Lee Abney Smith, she was the wife of the late Clayton Tracy Salter. Mrs. Salter was a member of Richland Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Martha Miller (Chuck) and Mary Anna Rogers (Dondi) both of Ward, two sisters, Elma Dubose (Edwin) of Ridge Spring and Lois Smith of Monetta and four grandchildren, Trevor Miller (Nahal), Justin Miller, Haleigh Rogers and Tyler Rogers.
Mrs. Salter was preceded in death by a brother, John Clarence Smith.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Richland Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Tri County, 166 Stoneridge Dr., Suite 100, Columbia, SC 29210.
