Leroy Gregory, Jr.

Leroy Gregory, Jr., 73, passed away December 3, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Saluda, SC and a son of the late Leroy Gregory, Sr., and Margaret Watkins Gregory, he was the husband of Sonya Rush Gregory. Mr. Gregory was a graduate of Goose Creek High School in 1970 and was a former employee with Ronald Burton Construction and Staking. He was a member of Bible Believers.

Surviving along side his wife are two daughters, Virginia Ann "Ginny" Gregory, Kimberly Jean "Kim" Gregory Phillips (Reginald), both of Saluda, four grandsons, one granddaughter, four great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter, two brothers, Bobby Gregory of Cottageville, SC; Donnie Gregory of Georgia, a sister, Sherry Campbell of Saluda, a bonus daughter, Tori Brown of Saluda, five bonus grandchildren, and five bonus great-grandchildren.

Mr. Gregory is preceded in death by a son, Warren Lee Pirt and a brother, Jimmy Gregory.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 11, 2023, Ramey Funeral Home with Rev. Burton Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Sunday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.
