Lewis Calvin Maw, 88, died Friday, August 19, 2016 at his residence.

Born in Newberry County and a son of the late Harlston Samuel and Mary Lyda McGaha Maw, he was the husband of Margaret Evon Fulmer Maw. Mr. Maw was a US Navy veteran of World War II. He was a retired Salesman and promoted Stock Car races with DARC in the sixty's and was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife Margaret Evon Fulmer Maw, two daughters, Dianne M. Storey (Gordon) of Saluda and Cheryl M. Litton (Greg) of Orange City, FL, three brothers, Sam Maw of Spartanburg, Dan Maw of Newberry and Wayne Maw of Kennesaw, GA, a sister, Dorothy Maw Steele of Aiken, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Maw was preceded in death by six brothers, Adger Maw, Alvin Maw, Edward Maw, Grady Maw, John Maw and Ansel Maw and a sister Mary Elizabeth Maw.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Lee Cothran officiating. Interment will follow in West Travis Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
