Lillie Mae Kitchings Rea, 74, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Lexington Medical Center.
Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Jake J. Kitchings and Evetter Turner Kitchings, she was the wife of the late William "Bill" Thomas Rea, Sr. Mrs. Rea was a former employee of Milliken and Company in Saluda and was employed by various car dealerships in Columbia. She was a member of Saluda First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Felicia Renee Steele (Jason) of Leesville, three sons, William "Billy" Thomas Rea, Jr. (Brenda) of Lexington, James Timothy Rea (Tenny) of Lexington and Lee Tracy Rea (Vickie) of West Columbia , a brother, Billy Earl Kitchings (Helen) of Ward, eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Rea was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Wise Kitchings and a grandson, Lee Travis Rea.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Saturday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Saluda First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Louie Murray officiating. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery.
