Saluda, SC

Liston David Rawls, 80, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at his residence.

Born in Aiken County, he was a son of the late Irvin Brice and Annie Mae Drawdy Rawls. Mr. Rawls was retired from Bledsoe's Transport Services and Bledsoe's Auto Services. He was a member of Faith Temple Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Teresa R. Grigsby (Lee) of Greenwood and Linda R. Oswald (John Allen) of Saluda, five brothers, Bennie Rawls, Johnny Rawls, Bobby Rawls, Alton Rawls and Martin Rawls, two sisters, Annie Bodie and Emmie Williams, a grandson, Kevin Hopkins, a granddaughter, Victoria Halydier (Nathan) and two great-grandsons, Marshall Halydier and Nolan Halydier.

Mr. Rawls was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie Rawls, Joe Rawls and George Rawls.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Faith Temple Church with Rev. Tony Whatley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
