Louese Edwards Bledsoe, 84, died Saturday, August 8, 2015 at her home.

Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late John Wesley and Carrie Mae Rodgers Edwards, she was the wife of the late James Henry Bledsoe. Mrs. Bledsoe was a homemaker and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, James D. (Danny) Bledsoe, two daughters, Wanda Black (Marion) and Patti Waters (Tyler) all of Saluda, two brothers, Luther Edwards of Edgefield and Henry Edwards of Ninety Six, three grandchildren, Ryan Black (Kayla) , Nikki Bodie and Slayter Waters and two great-grandchildren, Colton and Presley Black.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2015 at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Freeman and Rev. Dan Bradley officiating. interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
