Luke Jefferson "Jeff" Bartley, 74, died Sunday, December 13, 2015 at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

Born in Saluda County and a son of the late Amzie Samuel and Christine Jones Bartley, he was the husband of the late Ellen Marie Shealy Bartley. Mr. Bartley was a retired Cattle Farmer and Logger and was a member of Richland Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Wade Bartley (Alicea) of Ward and Jeffrey Smith Bartley (Connie) of Saluda, a brother, Jim Bartley of Ward, six sisters, Louise Nichols of Saluda, Marie Metts of Leesville, Sissy Rodgers, Shirley Dowling, Kay Shell all of Ward and Jean Dominick of Newberry, two grandchildren, Austan Jeffrey Bartley and Morgan Blaire Bartley and a great-grandson, Lain Jeffrey Bartley.

A Graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Saluda Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steve Jones officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
