Margaret Elizabeth Jennings, 99, died Saturday, October 4, 2014 at her residence.

Born in Saluda County, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Lena Mae Givens Jennings. Miss Jennings attended Lander College and graduated from Newberry College and was a school teacher for over 25 years having taught at Trinity School in the Good Hope Community and Ridge Spring Elementary. She enjoyed making ceramics and building and fixing things, very much a "Handywoman". Miss Margaret was a devoted daughter and was very faithful to her mother and father.

Margaret is survived by her sister, Gloria Givens Hood of Saluda. She was preceded in death by a sister, Laurice Analle Jennings Mutrie and a brother, Lewis Allen Givens, Jr.

A graveside service will be held 1PM Wednesday, October 8,2014 at Travis Park Cemetery with Rev. John Hood officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8PM Tuesday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.
