Maria Palma

Maria Heredia Palma, 87, passed away November 14, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Mexico, and a daughter of the late Savino Heredia and Maria Villescas, she was the wife of the late Sosimo Palma – Gutierrez. Mrs. Palma was a homemaker and attended St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Batesburg.

Surviving are her thirteen children, Amancio Palma, Irma Luna, Both of Ridge Spring, J.P. Palma, of Johnston, Socimo Palma, of Texas, Luciano Palma, Reyna Hernadez, Jose Palma, Lauis Palma, all of Johnston, Vilma Jutierrz of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lorenzo Palma, of Johnston, Celina Palma, of Mexico, Melissa Flores and Iven Palma, both of Johnston, a brother, Andres Heredia, of Arizona, two sisters, Matilde and Mercedes Heredia, both of Mexico, 46 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Palma is preceded in death by a son, Euvecia Palma, and a daughter, Olivia Palma.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Ramey Funeral Home with Father Gustavo Corredor officiating.
