Marian Griffith

Ethel Marian Anderson Griffith, 99, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Born in Grassflat, PA and a daughter of Gustav Fritchjov Anderson and Anna Evaline Folmar Anderson, she was the widow of Ernest Carroll Griffith. She was office manager of Dr. Mappus office and a member of Saluda First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are two sons, M. Anderson "Andy" Griffith (Anne) of Aiken and Dane Griffith (Ashleigh) of Leesville, one daughter, Chesica Horne (Andy) of Saluda, two grandchildren, Zachary and Hannah Griffith, a great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Griffith and two brothers, James Anderson of Medford, OR, and Roger Anderson of Locust Grove, VA.

Mrs. Griffith is preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Lovell, and a grandson, Christian Griffith.

A graveside service will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Louie Murray and Rev. Larry G. Smith officiating.
