Marian "Deanie" Davenport

Marian "Deanie" Undeen Underwood Davenport, 83, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.

Born in Paw Creek, NC and a daughter of the late Ralph Underwood and Dorothy Wright Underwood, she was the wife of the late Morris Lander Davenport. Mrs. Davenport was retired from Knights Industries and was a charter member of Saluda Baptist Church and the Ladies 3 Sunday school class.

Surviving are five children, Mike Davenport (Dianne) of Mullins, Pamela Conyers (Larry) of Saluda, Wayne Davenport of Ninety Six, Roger Davenport of Saluda and Stacey Derrick (Jody) of Saluda, ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Davenport was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Kennedy and Mitzi Davenport.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Saluda Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff McCartney officiating. Interment will follow in West Travis Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church foyer.
