Marianna Trotter Whitesall, 86, died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the University Hospital in Augusta.

Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late George and Ella Ruth Hazel Trotter, she was the wife of the late Bernard Alvin Whitesall. Mrs. Whitesall was a former textile employee and supervisor with Pepperidge Farm. She was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in N. Augusta.

Surviving are a sister, Virginia Witt of Greenwood, a brother, Edgar Trotter of Gloverville, a long time companion, Clarence Spivey of Aiken and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m., Wednesday morning at Ramey Funeral Home.

A Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Red Bank Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Burton Campbell officiating.
