Marie Gambrell Gillian, 81, died Thursday, December 29, 2022 at her home.
Born in Due West, SC and a daughter of the late Frank Gambrell and May Ballard Gambrell, she was the wife of James Henry Gillian, Jr. Mrs. Gillian was retired from Greenwood Mills (Sloan Plant). She loved the outdoors and fishing, her hobbies included sewing and crocheting.
Surviving are her husband, James Henry Gillian, Jr. of Ninety-Six, two daughters, Tina Thompson of Greenwood and Terry Wilson of Ninety-Six and five grandchildren, Jessie Gibert, Kayce Knight, Emily Knight, Dawn Wilson and Daniel Wilson.
Mrs. Gillian was preceded in death by two sons, Jeff Knight and Will Wilson, four brothers, her twin brother, Marvin Gambrell, Ray Gambrell, Horace Gambrell and Jimmy Gambrell and a sister, Gertrude Alewine.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
