Marion Crouch

Marion Lafayette Crouch, 90, died Sunday, April 9, 2017.

Born in Saluda County on August 29, 1926 and a son of the late Tyrie E. and Minnie Smith Crouch, he was the husband of the late Jean Edwards Crouch. Mr. Crouch served in the US Army and was retired owner of The Flower and Gift Shop. He was a member of Saluda Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Jane Edwards and Karen (Kenny) Abstance both of Saluda, a sister, Caroline Thompson of Camden, three grandchildren, Andrew (Christin) Edwards, Meredith (Dan) Sloan and Jacob Edwards, four great-grandchildren, Jasmyn Edwards, Hayden Edwards, Brynlee Sloan and Rylee Edwards and a special caregiver, Julie Huggins.

Mr. Crouch was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Crouch.

A Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Saluda Baptist Church with Rev. Stacy Smith, Rev. Mayhew West and Rev. Van Pigate officiating. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
