Marion Turner, Jr. 40, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Hospice Care of the Piedmont.

Born in Greenwood County and a son of Marion Fred Turner, Sr. and Sharon S. Turner and Crystal Sweat Edwards. He was the husband of Sherri Rearden Turner. Mr. Turner was a graduate of Ninety Six High School class of 1995 and was self employed. He attended Saluda Church of God.

Surviving are his wife, Sherri Rearden Turner, his father and step-mother, Marion Fred Turner, Sr. and Sharon Stewart Turner, his mother, Crystal Sweat Edwards, a mother in-law, Linda Murray of Saluda, three daughters, Sabrina Lynn Turner (Wyatt) of Greenwood, Scarlett Aubrey Turner of the home and Lindsey Kathleen Wham of Augusta, GA, four brothers, Christopher Daniel Turner (Tara) of Goodlettsville, TN, Michael Sidney Summer, Jr. (Ashley) of Saluda, Samuel Lewis "Bobo" Turner (Ashley) of Ninety Six and Robert Arthur Summer (Lisa) of Saluda, a sister, Rejeana Faith Berry (Wayne) of Trenton, a granddaughter, Haven Rose Wrenn and a special friend of the family, Judy Lawson.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday evening at Ramey Funeral Home and at other times 409 N. Jefferson St., Saluda.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2016 at Saluda Church of God with Rev. Derrick Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Mayson Memorial Cemetery.
