Marjorie Enlow
Marjorie Padgett Enlow, 85, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Saluda Nursing Center.
Born on March 16, 1935 in Saluda County, she was the daughter of the late Lula Mae Jackson Padgett and Jeff Padgett.
Marjorie spent her working years employed with the local sewing rooms and convenience stores where she met and made many friends. She is known for her straight forward opinions and kind gestures when there was someone in need.
Referred to as "Big Mama" by her family, she spent her later years as a homemaker and was an excellent cook. She doted on her children and grandchildren and welcomed all into her home where there was never too many at the table and taking home leftovers was a must.
Ms. Enlow is survived by sons, Rusty Blackwell (Didi) of Saluda, Randy Enlow (Natasha) of Ridge Spring; step son Tim Enlow (Jaqui) of Gilbert; sister in law, Margaret Padgett of Ward; Thirteen grandchildren; Twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank Enlow; son, Robert Franklin Enlow; daughter, Brenda Gail Blackwell Walker; brother, Richard Carl Padgett and a very special companion, Henry "Hank" Bartley.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
