Marsha Tucker

Marsha Rodgers Tucker, 57, passed away January 8, 2024, at Lexington Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood, SC, and a daughter of Mary Helen Goodman Rodgers and the late Luther "Buddy" Rodgers, she was the wife of the late Danny Ray Tucker. Mrs. Tucker attended Piedmont Technical College where she received her Nursing Degree. She was employed with J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home in Newberry and was a member of Dean's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Candice R. Rangel (Mario) of Greenwood, Shonda L. Hammond (Ernie) of Edgefield, a son, Shannon D. Rodgers "Bubba" of Leesville, two sisters, Miranda Rodgers Goff (James) of Saluda, Wendy Rodgers Craps (Mitch) of Leesville, five grandchildren, Patrick 'Qwan" Boyd, Alexis Boyd, Angel "Turtle" Rangel, Chuck Hammond, and Becca Hammond, and a great-grandson, Skyler Daniels.

Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by a sister, Melanie Ann Jones.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, January 11, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, January 12, 2024, at Dean's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Tim Sanders and Rev. Tim Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
