Martha Livingston Cromley, 93, died Friday, February 19, 2016 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Orangeburg County and a daughter of the late David Thomas and Martha Bookhardt Livingston, she was the wife of the late William McSwain Cromley, Jr. Mrs. Cromley was a homemaker and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Jane Cromley Curtis (Richard) of Fairfax, VA and Linda Cromley Renwick (Stan) of Newberry, a son, William McSwain Cromley, III (Libby) of Saluda, a sister, June Shirer of Elloree, five grandchildren, William McSwain Cromley, IV (Brandy), Meredith Cromley Horan (Zach), Martha Cromley, Tyler Curtis (Alyson) and Charlotte Curtis and five great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Mary Howell, Mrs. Cromley's devoted caregiver.

Mrs. Cromley was preceded in death by four brothers, D.T. Livingston, Charles Livingston, Paul Livingston and Billy Livingston.

Funeral services will be held 5 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church with Rev. James K. Glander officiating. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Gathering room at the church.
