Martha Elizabeth Darnell Huff, 85, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at her home.

Born in Bamberg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Henrietta Smoak Darnell, and widow to Perry Thomas Huff, Sr. She was a retired caregiver at Burton Center and a member of Saluda First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She also was a volunteer at Christ Central as well as being a member of Saluda County Council on Aging.

Surviving are two sons, Perry Thomas Huff, Jr. of the home and Ted Huff, Sr. (Deb) of West Columbia, one daughter, Betty K. Proctor of Ridgeway, six grandchildren, Ted Huff, Jr. of West Columbia, Kathy Miller of Ridgeway, Will Darnell of Statesboro, NC, Terry Darnell of Bowman, Lindsey Huff of Lexington and Thomas Huff of Goose Creek, nine great-grandchildren, Anna Whitten of Batesburg, Jessica Darnell of Orangeburg, Michael Darnell of Walterboro, Emma Hackett of Taylorsville, NC, Teri Kate Darnell of Blanchard, LA, Wade Darnell of Blanchard, LA, Abby Huff of Lexington, Mattie Huff of West Columbia, and Riley Tucker of Lexington, a great-great-grandchild, Ethan Smith of Orangeburg, and a brother, Eddie Darnell of Augusta, GA.

Mrs. Huff is preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Darnell and Billy Darnell, and one sister, Mary Frances Darnell.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
