Martha Georgia Edwards
Martha Georgia Edwards, 87, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Saluda Nursing Center.
Born November 8, 1933 in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Lizzie Jay Edwards. She was a member of Saluda First Pentecostal Holiness Church and a seamstress at Knights Industries and Saluda Shirt Plant.
Survivors include her twin sister Maggie Edwards, a sister Linder Nicholson and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Lavina Bradley and four brothers, Horace, Albert, Joe Ben and Clarence Edwards.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Deans Chapel Holiness Church.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. William Sawyer and the staff at Saluda Nursing Center for taking care of our dearest aunt Georgie.
