Martha Joann Padgett, 81, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.
Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Padgett and Rosa Lee Butler Padgett and was raised by her grandparents. Ms. Padgett was a graduate of Saluda High School, where she played basketball. She served in the United States Marine Corps and was a retired machinist.
Ms. Padgett was preceded in death by her twin sister, June D'Amato.
A private memorial service will be held.
