Mary Jonell Berry Gillian, 76, died Saturday, September 20, 2014.
Born in Saluda County in the Hollywood section, she was the daughter of the late Joe Ellis and Brunell Grant Berry. Mrs. Gillian was retired from Greenwood Mills Sloan Plant and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Joy Denise Gillian of Greenwood, two sons, James Harold Gillian of North Dakota and Jeffery Kirk Gillian of Greenwood, a sister, Margaret B. Frick, a brother, Henry Ellis Berry of Ward, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gillian was preceded in death by a brother, James Larry Berry.
A private graveside service was held on Wednesday, September, 24, 2014 at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, c/o Clara Riley, 242 Bethany Church Rd., Saluda, SC 29138.
