Mattie Rinehart Yarbrough West, 96, passed away peacefully at her home in Saluda, SC July 14, 2018.

Mrs. West was born at her family home in Saluda, SC, May 10, 1922 to Robert Lee Rinehart and Elizabeth (Bessie) Schumpert Rinehart. She was predeceased by her brothers E. Leland, Alton, Oscar P. and Robert Lee Rinehart and her sister, Miriam R. Taylor. She was married to the late Ansel M. Yarbrough, and the late Alfred West.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Madeline Jefferson (Dr. Henry) of Saluda and Cheryl Y. McCord of Greenwood. She was predeceased by her daughter, Rosalyn Ann Storey. She had 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by 2 granddaughters, Amy G. Stephens and Elizabeth "Bett" McCord Bley.

Funeral services will be Tuesday July 17, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Nazareth United Methodist Church, Leesville, SC, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
