Obituary

Maud Lee Duffie Green, 95, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014.

Born in Newberry County and a daughter of the late Isaiah Coy and Cora Nichols Duffie, she was the wife of the late Norvin Lamar Green. Mrs. Green was a homemaker and a retired seamstress. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and the Sunshine Club.

Surviving are two daughters, Linda G. Hammond of Lexington and Norma L. Pilot of Saluda, a sister, Mae Martin of Saluda, four grandchildren, three honorary grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a honorary great-grandchild and a special caregiver, Sophie Etheredge.

Mrs. Green was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie H. Duffie and two sisters, Eoline Buffington and Frances Felkel.

A Graveside service will be held 11 am, Friday, May 16, 2014 at Red Bank Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Joey Boggs officiating.
