Maude Turner Blackmon, 84, died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at her residence.

Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Robert Matthew and Rosie Bell Rowe Turner, she was the wife of the late Henry Bennett "Hank" Blackmon. Mrs. Blackmon was a retired LPN with Saluda Nursing Center and was a member of Butler United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Roberta J. Blackmon of Ninety Six, two brothers, Clyde Turner of Saluda and Tony Turner of Prosperity and a sister, Lela Mae Crenshaw of Saluda.

Mrs. Blackmon was preceded in death by a son, Ellery Bennett Blackmon and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Butler United Methodist Church with Rev. Lee Cothran officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 pm at the church.
