Melita Everhardt

Melita Joette Mason Everhardt, 69, died Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Hospice House of Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood.

Born in Aiken County, she was the daughter of Norma Oswald Mason Martin and the late Wilbur Mason. Mrs. Everhardt was a caregiver.

Surviving is her daughter, Brittni E. Miller (DJ) of Saluda; her mother, Norma Oswald Mason Martin of Saluda; two brothers, Jimmy Mason and Johnny Mason both of Florida; a sister, Regina Ridgell of Prosperity and a granddaughter, Hayden Miller.

Mrs. Everhardt was preceded in death by a sister, Krista Mason.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday, August 20, 2021 at Celebration Church with Rev. Jerry Brunson officiating.
