Michael "Mike" Ramey

Michael "Mike" Pugh Ramey, 67, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, at his home.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Robert Lee "R.L." Ramey and Rose Pugh Ramey. After graduating high school, Mike attended Piedmont Technical College. He worked at Ramey Funeral Home in his early years, having grown up in the family business. He later worked in construction and was a cattle farmer. Mike loved the Carolina Gamecocks and enjoyed fishing.

Surviving is his brother, Robert L. "Bob" Ramey of Saluda.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2026, at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Burton Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery.
