Michael Edward Rowlette, 61, died Sunday, June 25, 2017 at his residence.

Born in Fort Knox, KY and a son of the late Wilbur Gene Rowlette and the late Jennie Ruth Hall Rowlette Smith, he was the husband of Terri Frances Clary Rowlette. Mr. Rowlette was a retired paramedic having served 35 years with the State of South Carolina.

Surviving are his wife, Terri Frances Clary Rowlette, a son, Matthew Jordan Rowlette of Leesville, two stepdaughters, Kaitlyn Marie Wilson (Eric) of Greenwood and Karson Amanda Powell of Saluda and three sisters, Margie Culbertson (George), Marie Roach (Dwayne) and Mitzi Smith (Kenny) all of Greenwood and a half sister Denise Haden of Spartanburg.

Mr. Rowlette was preceded in death by a sister, Marcia Laye.

A Memorial service will be held 4 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Toby Frost and Rev. Lee Cothran officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
