Mildred Havird Pearson's Obituary
Mildred Havird Pearson, 72, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at her home after a long battle with cancer.
Born on September 17, 1942 in Saluda County. She was the daughter of the late Jirden Havird and Carrie Bell Rowe Felker. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker and was an employee of Greenwood Mills for many years.
Surviving are her daughters, Pamela Ellinger (Teodoro Acevedo) and Wendy Guevara (Jorge) both of Saluda, a grandson, Chancey Ellinger (Michelle) and a great-granddaughter, Madison of Batesburg.
She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Jean Rowe of Saluda, a brother, Leroy "Bob" Havird of Graniteville and a grandson, Jarrod Ellinger of Saluda.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2015 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Yvonne Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Emory United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
